UPDATE - 24. 10. 2011.

Finally, I finished the improved version. Added some extra things to the whole composition and it turned out to be a lot darker than the previous one. Also, it's full sized now (1710 x 1058).

WOW, fantastic piece, i'm blown away. So blown away, in fact, that I would like to ask you if I could use this as part of the thumbnail image for a series on YouTube I run called Half-Life Saga. It is a show I run with all sorts of Half-Life related content, and my walkthrough of Episode 2 is the next thing coming up on my agenda. I would therefore ask you if you would be alright with me using this image for my thumbnails? I give full credit to each artist and provide any/all links desired by the artist in the description of each applicable video. Hopefully we can come to some sort of arrangement and keep up the good work!

Much appreciated your feedback. Since you'll provide a link to my original devation page (& you asked about my permission quite nicely), you can use it for HL Saga's thumbnails, of course. I'm glad you like this piece this much. = )

Brilliant! I love all the little details on show here, like the Shu'ulathoi reflected in Gordon's glasses, the dropships in the background, Alyx's winterware... very well done!
